An apartment for those looking for peace and quiet, for whatever reason. That's what really appealed to us, Leon Roodbeen and Marleen Wijnen: allowing others to enjoy the beauty and uniqueness of our North Limburg region. The apartment is located in the outbuilding of our farmhouse, built on the old foundations of the "hen house." The farmhouse, a municipal monument dating back to 1872, was fully restored in 2013, as was the outbuilding. We lived in the apartment ourselves during that restoration.

The farm is the childhood home of Leon and Leon's father. They grew up here. Marleen was born and raised further along the Hees and later lived at the Mia-Hoeve near America. In 1987, we moved in together to Eindhoven, where we lived for over 25 years. In 2013, we bought the farm and began restoring, renovating, and landscaping the surrounding grounds.

In 2017 we started Rust en Ruimte in Limburg and we enjoy every time when we are welcoming guest to provide them the quite and peace they are looking for.
